Ingredients: Linagliptin 2.5mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg

Direction of Use: Take as prescribed by a physician, usually with meals to reduce gastrointestinal side effects.

Indication: Used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycemic control alongside diet and exercise.

Pharmacology, Dosage & Administration: Linagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases incretin levels, while Metformin reduces hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity. The usual dosage is individualized based on patient needs.

Interaction: May interact with other antidiabetic drugs, diuretics, corticosteroids, and certain antibiotics.

Precautions & Warnings: Monitor renal function regularly. Use cautiously in patients with liver disease or heart failure. Risk of lactic acidosis with Metformin.

Overdose Effects: Symptoms may include severe hypoglycemia and lactic acidosis. Immediate medical attention is required.
