Pharmacology:
Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that suppresses gastric acid secretion by specifically inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺ ATPase enzyme system in the parietal cells of the stomach. This inhibition reduces both basal and stimulated acid secretion, promoting ulcer healing and symptom relief.

Dosage & Administration:
Adults: 20 mg once daily, usually taken before breakfast.
Duration of treatment:
GERD: 4–8 weeks

How to Use:
Take the tablet whole with water, preferably 30–60 minutes before a meal.

Interaction:
