Ingredients:
Domperidone Syrup

Direction of Use:
Take as directed by a physician, preferably before meals.

Indication:
Used for nausea, vomiting, bloating, and gastroesophageal reflux.

Pharmacology, Dosage & Administration:
Domperidone is a dopamine antagonist that enhances gastrointestinal motility. Dosage varies by age and condition; typically, 10mg three times daily.

Interaction:
May interact with ketoconazole, erythromycin, and CYP3A4 inhibitors, increasing cardiac risks.

Contraindications:
Not for patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, perforation, or prolonged QT syndrome.

Side Effects:
Headache, dry mouth, dizziness, abdominal cramps, and, rarely, cardiac arrhythmia.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Use with caution; consult a doctor before use. Not recommended during lactation.

Precautions & Warnings:
Caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment; avoid prolonged use.

Overdose Effects:
May cause drowsiness, agitation, and cardiac issues. Seek medical help if overdosed.

Therapeutic Class:
Prokinetic agent & antiemetic.
