Ingredients: Bisoprolol fumarate 10mg

Direction of Use: Take as prescribed by a physician, preferably in the morning with or without food.

Indication: Used for the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, and chronic heart failure.

Pharmacology, Dosage & Administration: Bisoprolol is a selective β1-blocker that reduces heart rate and blood pressure. The usual dosage ranges from 5-10mg once daily, adjusted as per patient response.

Interaction: May interact with other antihypertensives, antiarrhythmics, NSAIDs, insulin, and oral antidiabetics.

Contraindications: Contraindicated in patients with cardiogenic shock, severe bradycardia, advanced heart block, and severe asthma.

Side Effects: Common side effects include dizziness, fatigue, bradycardia, hypotension, and gastrointestinal discomfort.

Pregnancy & Lactation: Should be used with caution in pregnancy; not recommended during lactation unless necessary.

Precautions & Warnings: Use cautiously in patients with diabetes, bronchospastic diseases, and renal or hepatic impairment. Abrupt withdrawal should be avoided.

Overdose Effects: Symptoms include severe bradycardia, hypotension, heart failure, and bronchospasm. Immediate medical attention is required.
