Ingredients:
Each tablet contains:
Rosuvastatin Calcium equivalent to 20mg of Rosuvastatin
Excipients: As per standard formulation (e.g., lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate)
Direction of Use:
Take exactly as prescribed by the physician.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, with or without food.
Preferably taken at the same time each day.

Hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol)
Mixed dyslipidemia
Hypertriglyceridemia
Primary prevention of cardiovascular disease in patients at high risk
Familial hypercholesterolemia (heterozygous or homozygous)
Pharmacology:
Rosuvastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin) that works by blocking the enzyme responsible for cholesterol synthesis in the liver. This leads to a reduction in total cholesterol, LDL-C (bad cholesterol), triglycerides, and a mild increase in HDL-C (good cholesterol).

Dosage & Administration:
Adults: Usual starting dose is 10mg once daily.
Rosuva 20mg may be prescribed in moderate to severe hyperlipidemia or as per clinical response.
Dosage may be adjusted at intervals of 4 weeks or more.
Maximum recommended dose: 40mg per day (in selected patients only).
Dose adjustment required in patients with renal impairment or Asian ethnicity.
How to Use:
Do not break or crush the tablet.
Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Continue even if you feel well; it controls cholesterol, not cures it.
Regular follow-up and lipid profile monitoring are advised.

Unexplained persistent elevations of liver enzymes

No specific antidote.
Symptomatic and supportive treatment recommended.
Monitor liver function and CK levels in suspected overdose.
