Ingredients:
Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride (20mg)
Direction of Use:
Take one tablet orally with water.
Can be taken with or without food.
Take at the same time each day for best results.
Do not crush or chew the tablet; swallow it whole.
Indication:
Used to treat allergic conditions, such as:
Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes).
Chronic urticaria (hives) and other skin allergies.
Hay fever and dust/pet allergy symptoms.
Pharmacology:
Levocetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine.
It works by blocking histamine (H1 receptors) to prevent allergic reactions.
Provides long-lasting relief without significant drowsiness.
Dosage & Administration:
Adults & children (over 12 years): 20mg once daily.
Children (under 12 years): Dosage should be adjusted by a doctor.
Patients with kidney impairment: Lower doses may be required.
Interaction:
May cause increased drowsiness when combined with alcohol, sedatives, or tranquilizers.
Avoid using with other antihistamines to prevent excessive effects.
Some antifungal and antibiotic medications may affect drug metabolism.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to levocetirizine or other antihistamines.
Severe kidney disease (end-stage renal failure).

Overdose Effects:
Symptoms: Extreme drowsiness, restlessness, fast heartbeat.
