Ingredients:
Each tablet contains:
Sitagliptin 50 mg
Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg

Direction of Use:
Take the tablet as prescribed by your doctor, usually with meals to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew.

Indication:
Used for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) to improve glycemic control in adults when diet and exercise alone are insufficient.

Pharmacology:
Sitagliptin: A dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that increases insulin secretion and reduces glucagon levels in response to meals.
Metformin Hydrochloride: A biguanide that decreases hepatic glucose production, improves insulin sensitivity, and enhances glucose uptake by muscles.
